Wellington’s On Course Consignment Marks Tenth Year as Equestrian Aid Foundation Business Partner

Wellington, Fl – September 10, 2018 – When Wellington-based amateur equestrian and businesswoman Jacquie McCutchan opened On Course Consignment in 2008, a charitable partnership was part of her vision. Ten years later, her partnership with the Equestrian Aid Foundation has yielded over $11,000 in assistance to critically ill and injured members of the equestrian community.

“Horse people are unique in the way they help each other, and Jacquie is a perfect example of that,” said EAF board member Robert Ross. “Her store caters to everyone, from world class riders recycling their tack and apparel to lesson kids buying their first pair of riding boots. Then she goes the extra mile to give back to horsemen in need. It’s full circle.”

“I believe in the Equestrian Aid Foundation,” said McCutchan, whose model is the inspiration for EAF’s Business Partners program. “There’s definitely a need for the services they provide, so I donate a percentage of our proceeds every month. Sometimes it’s a little, sometimes it’s a lot—it adds up.”

The Equestrian Aid Foundation recognizes its business partners on its website, promotes the partnerships on their social media outlets and also provides partners with EAF Business Partner badges to use on their storefronts or online.

McCutchan encourages other business owners to consider ways they could participate as EAF Business Partners. “If your business is associated with any part of the horse community, you’re supporting the people who support you,” she said. “We count on equestrians, and we can give back.”
